The Other Pat

To us in the "Sars Room", Pat Helberg is referred to as the "Landlord" who leases this disease-ridden room to us and occasionly drops in to see if we would like to lose money in his highly questionable sporting pools. The last event in which Mike Doherty won the football pool is being questioned by the entire first floor of JR.

Many people don't know the other side of Pat but he's one of the best basketball players to play at Nike between 1-2 on Tues/Thurs. "He's an animal on the court" said a victim of Pat's knee-banging. Pat probably wears more protective gear than a sponsered athlete but he uses the gear to his advantage.

The "Sars Room" would like to open our arms and have an open house to get to know Pat's group. We know that there may be "ill" feelings because we've been here so long. The open house will include hand-baked cookies and drinks. "We want them to know that they can hug us and not get a disease."
